Roadline was a haulage firm from ages past, a name then as synonymous as Eddie Stobart is today. Throughout the 70s they were everywhere. In the early 80s they were swallowed by Lynx Parcel Force. Now - DO ANY SURVIVE? | |

| What's left of this Roadline truck is easily viewable in a field on the apex of the M1 and M6 above Watford Gap, as long as it's not summer as you have to wait for the trees to shed their leaves to view it. It is visible heading northbound on the west side of the M1, a few hundred yards north of the intersection with the M6, in amongst a load of old caravans and what looks like allotments (they aren't, it's private).
The other Roadline trailer we know is on a farm outside Potters Bar, used to be 2 but now only 1 left..... to be continued | |
