Scrapyard Heaven
Autoshite bring you images from car scrapyards. A scrapyard full of old classic cars is perhaps the ultimate in sheer Autoshite heaven.

What you see here are classics on the verge extinction. In many cases though, we do encounter real enthusiasts collecting old cars and storing them on their land. Our full respect is due to anyone following this line of vehicular reasoning. It gives Autoshite a nervous breakdown to think these cars are a moment away from the crusher, which in many cases, they are. Please see the "Save the Kit Campaign" page to see what you can do to prevent such rare cars becoming extinct.
To begin, some images from roaming around Europe. Not every car in these photos is a classic, so take a moment to clean your spotting monocle before you browse into the ultimate in spotting paradise.

Please note: Option of image expansion will be added soon.
All photographs above taken in Croatia Sept 2005. Some of these locations are on private property, with reasonably friendly and enthusiastic owners.

Below we see some classic havens in Andalucia, Spain, Sept 2004. Some of these feature in Practical Classics magazine "Rust In Peace" section earlier this year.
Below are images of two famous former classic car scrapyards from the UK, Blackborough and Bridport, in the South East of England. EC regulations close such places today.
