| TECHNOLOGY BRINGS TOMORROW CLOSER. TODAY.
The motor industry is set to be turned on its head with the introduction of a powerful new computer later this year.
A British post-classic car company have been secretly developing new technologies that are set to bring hitherto unheard of benefits to car design, manufacture, testing and marketing. Development of these technologies has been so secretive, insiders from the worlds of motoring and computing knew nothing about the undercover project. One senior computer expert was quoted as saying:
| | “These people have quite literally delivered the vision of tomorrow today. This is potentially bigger than the advent of the jet age, it literally is.”
| |
| A technician from the usually elusive Autoshite today shed some light on the project. The computer will be sold globally as the Autoshite Apricot Autoprinter 3500V8 and will be powered by a massive 9,500Volt generator, have some 625,000GB of memory and the processing power of more than 180 IBM mainframe computers. Weighing in at 12.3 tons, the Apricot will assist in the design of new model ranges such as the Autoshite Vatican range; offering statistical analysis far superior to even the most powerful modern computers.

| “This isn’t some bloody joke you know. This truly is the future, today” one spokesman recently stated.
"We have a fully operational Autoshite Apricot 3500V8 up and running in our Research Facility. Fact.”
| |
| When probed about the readiness of the machine for worldwide sale, the spokesman defiantly replied:
“She’s ready alright. Ok, so the weight of the Apricot will mean that most potential buyers will have to reinforce their building structures, and the power required to operate it will also hinder some other buyers, but I would have probably thought these things could be ironed out somehow. The Apricot cannot however be used in conjunction with any current operating systems but we are confident the industry will work something out.

| |
| Autoshite have thus far been unwilling to let anyone use the Apricot, and industry insiders will not see its full capabilities until the release of the Vatican range of vehicles.
